Introduction: All our courses aim to create a good relationship between horse and man when they work together.  In the course "Movement and handling the horse", you will learn about the importance of creating a relationship with your horse without changing his natural bearing.  Depending on your objective and your level, we offer a personalised programme in ground or ridden work.  

Aim:  To use the theory of the horse's movement, the ethology and the scientific developments of the CHEVALEDUC programme to understand better the relationship with the horse.   To use the principles of the Blondeau method to improve ridden work.      

A course for the amateur rider

Training content:
Theory modules:
The theory that you will be taught will cover the subjects of equestrian culture and ethology.  
These subjects will enable you to understand the principles of the Blondeau method.   
Practical modules:
Observing the way the horse behaves  
Approaching and handling a horse safely   
Preparing for ridden work through use of ground work    
Teaching a horse to go into a trailer   
Teaching a horse to cope with different obstacles such as a tree trunk, ditch or tarpaulin  
Detecting possible problems with movement  
Lungeing   
Teaching a horse to work with long reins
